Todo comienza con Marty McFly, un adolescente que vive en 1985 y sueña con tener una vida mejor.

Su amigo, el excéntrico científico Doc Brown, construye una máquina del tiempo dentro de un DeLorean, y por accidente, Marty viaja a 1955.

Allí conoce a sus padres… antes de que se enamoren.

Su presencia altera la historia, y debe lograr que se enamoren para no desaparecer.
