I’m struggling to keep up with the rhythm of life… but I’m still here

It’s 5:19 in the morning.

It’s Saturday, and a dear friend going through a tough time inspired me to write.

I remembered those moments when I wasn’t feeling okay — when I’d watch the clouds drift by, get lost staring at the ceiling, and simply disappear into nothingness.

Outside, everything seems calm, but inside… the soul moves slowly, as if trying to find its rhythm.

It’s not always easy to keep up with life’s pace. Sometimes the day begins before you do, and other times everything feels like it’s moving too fast.

But today I want to talk to you about those days when it’s hard… and yet, you keep going.

🕰️ When the body is present, but the soul lags behind

There are times when the alarm goes off and your body gets up, but your heart stays in bed.

You move, you do what you must, reply to messages, smile…

but deep down, it feels like you’re trying to dance to a song you never rehearsed.

And it’s not about laziness or lack of will.

It’s simply the weight of all you’ve lived, all you carry, all you never say.

💬 When moving forward is already an act of courage

No one sees the inner battle.

No one notices that just getting out of bed today was a victory.

Life doesn’t always move with the lightness we’d like.

There are days that feel eternal, moments when breathing feels heavy, and silences that hurt more than words ever could.

And yet… you keep going.

Even tired. Even offbeat. Even without knowing exactly where you’re headed.

That too, dear soul, is progress.

🌱 Learning to be compassionate with ourselves

We expect too much of ourselves.

We compare our pace with those dancing to a different rhythm, on a different stage, living a different story.

But you don’t have to dance like the rest.

You have the right to take your time.

It’s not about giving up — it’s about respecting your pace.

“Today I didn’t run, but I walked.

Today my sun didn’t shine, but I embraced myself in the shade.

Today I wasn’t my best version… but I showed up.”

And that, on days like this, is more than enough.

🌤️ You may not feel like you’re winning… but if you’re still going, you’re already overcoming

Life’s rhythm is never the same.

There are soft waltzes, wild rock and roll, and silent interludes.

Maybe today you’re in a pause.

Maybe this is a moment to breathe, to heal, to simply feel.

But you didn’t stop.

You’re here — reading, feeling, existing.

And that is more than enough.

So if today, like me, you’re struggling to find life’s rhythm… breathe.

You’re not alone.

Many of us are dancing the best way we can.

With clumsy steps, but steady hearts.

Because even without music… we keep going.
